How We Work With You

Our Process

Our process is designed to be flexible and efficient. Our goal is to determine your needs and your goals and develop a plan and pathway to achieve them. Steps in this process are described below:


FIRST MEETING

After our initial contact, we will set up a meeting with you and your staff. Our primary focus at this meeting will be to listen. As you describe your company, it's current status, where you would like to go, etc., we will be listening for areas and problems that you are wrestling with now, what may come up in the future, and most importantly, where your company's core identity and strengths lie. That is the key to our process. The more we can learn about your company, the better.

If you have a specific task, such as managing a proposal effort, this is the time to outline that effort and what you need from us.

Of course, we are there to answer any questions you may have about us as well.

At the end of this meeting we should have a clearer idea of where we can work together to get your company on the path to Intelligent, sustainable, growth.


RESPONSE

In most cases we will take some time to evaluate what we've heard and discussed at our first meeting. We will get back to you in writing outlining what we've discussed and suggesting areas where we can help your company develop. This is an informal response designed to come to an agreement on what work we will perform for you. The goal here is to arrive at either a statement of work, or a task list that we can use as a basis for our proposal to you.


CONSULTING AGREEMENT

Based on our discussions, we will prepare a draft Consulting Agreement detailing the work to be accomplished and our fees. This agreement can be a firm, fixed price agreement based on an agreed upon Statement of Work, or an open-ended agreement with milestones for ongoing work to be billed at an hourly rate. We will also address the nature and amount of support we will need from you and your staff to accomplish the goal, as well as any associated costs such as travel expense.


CONDUCT OF WORK

Once we have agreed on the work to be done and our fees, we will begin work. The consulting agreement will govern what is done and the delivery schedule. In cases where we need to work with you and your staff, we will always strive to minimize the time we need from your staff. Our goal is to work diligently to complete the work required to your complete satisfaction in the shortest time possible.
